## What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. Together we call them "cookies".

## Cookies we use

### Strictly necessary

Required for the site to work: security, load balancing and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off.

| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| `horwick_consent` | Remembers your cookie choices. | 12 months |
| `horwick-lang` | Remembers the language you choose with the language switch, so the site doesn't change it based on your location. Set only when you pick a language yourself. | 12 months |

### Analytics

Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

### Marketing

Used to measure campaigns and show relevant Horwick ads on other sites. Only set with your consent.

## Managing your preferences

Use the controls at the top of this page to change your choices at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the site may then stop working.

## Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by partners such as analytics providers. Their use of data is governed by their own policies and our [Privacy Policy](/legal/privacy-policy).
